Activity #46-Generating Evidence to Support Claims

1) The speech written by Steve Jobs relate best to "The Value of Life" by encouraging us to overcome our obstacles regardless of the situations we are put in. He alerts us that even if someone may tell you that it is physically impossible for you to do something, miracles do exist and by maintaining an optimistic outlook on life, we can achieve greatness.

2) It is an example because he speaks of a certain occurrence in his lifetime and how it help mold him.

3) It can be a fact and it would be an experimental fact because let's say he was pessimistic throughout the entire time, he may have just ended his life then and there and would never have known what could have been achieved had he maintained a positive attitude.

4) It can be a opinion and a very credible one as far as spiritually and mentally but maybe not so credible when we speak in terms of physically however still often, incorrect or false judgement.

5) The evidence is persuasive because we all know sick patients that have experienced the worst of the worst and only make it through by keeping their chin up rather than if they were to fall and not get back up. It is realistic because it can happen to anyone even though we may never really expect it to or think about it.

6) The evidence is enough to leave the audience speechless because the example was so extraordinary.
